Programs & Classes


COGNOS ACT Prep

9th-12th | 9/9 - 12/2 | Sat 3pm-7:30pm

Students will practice for the ACT using the COGNOS®
methodology developed at Peninsula Academy. This
system has students practice with real ACT tests from
past years to build mental stamina and develop
effective test-taking strategies. Instructors break down
the sections of the test and teach students how to
think and reason the way the test makers do.

COGNOS SAT Prep

year-round | 1-on-1

Private sessions are available for SAT
preparation. Tutors develop personalized
lesson plans that address students’ needs
for improvement. Students receive extra
practice, instruction, and the one-on-one
attention they need to succeed.

College Application

12th | year-round | 1-on-1

Our dedicated college application program helps
students prepare for the entire college admissions
process. Our certified college counselors help with
narrowing down college lists and provide in-depth
assistance with writing/editing personal
statements, securing letters of recommendation,
and overall college planning. Leave the stress of
application season behind, and start looking
toward your acceptances!

Group Math & Science

5th-12th | year-round | Mon-Th 3:30-5:00pm; 5:00-6:30pm

This program is designed for those who aspire to higher-level math. Our students, taught by Jasen Li (MIT, former math club state champion) have been invited to Math field day and received awards including "Top Independent Scorer" in the biggest middle school competition, Math Counts. Get ready to take your math skills to the next level! 

College Consulting

6th-11th | year-round | 1-on-1

There is much more to getting into college than
submitting an application. Peninsula Academy’s College
Consulting program helps students and parents
both put together and execute the wisest
possible strategy to maximize the chances of
admission to students’ dream schools. Our
consultants help students prepare early in order
to make them into the best applicant.

Book Clubs

year-round | see times below 

This course is designed to reinforce the common core standards and methods for grades 2nd-5th. Students learn and practice standards through real common core material and assessments. Classes are divided into 2 levels: 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th.
