About Peninsula Academy

Since 1990, Peninsula Academy has been providing comprehensive tutoring, test prep, and college counseling services to students in the South Bay and Palos Verdes Peninsula. We aim to provide students with enriching and challenging opportunities that promote academic growth and excellence, develop knowledge and skills for academic success, and ultimately help them gain admission to the nation's top colleges and universities. We take a student-centered, synergistic, systematic, and team-support approach to help students identify and build on their strengths, improve their weaknesses, and enable them to take actionable, strategic steps to reach their true potential.

 

Our rigorously selected, high caliber tutors and college counselors include graduates of Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, U Penn, Duke, UC Berkeley, NYU, Cornell, Pomona College, UCLA, and USC, as well as both former and current school teachers and college professors. Together, our tutors and counselors have decades of combined experience in K-12 education and college counseling.
