Meet Coach Matt ​

​

We’re excited to spotlight Coach Matt, one of our Policy Debate instructors and an accomplished competitor and coach. As a student, he earned multiple national and state awards. As a coach, he has led middle and high school teams to success at elite competitions, including the Tournament of Champions for five consecutive years.

​

Coach Matt brings experience from top public and private schools in San Marino, Pasadena, and Thousand Oaks, offering students high-level coaching in a supportive and motivating environment. We’re thrilled to have his leadership as we continue expanding access to top-tier speech and debate training in 2026.

• Elementary Speech & Debate(3rd-5th) | Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 pm 

• Middle School Speech & Debate(6th-8th) | Tuesdays 4:00-6:00 pm 

• Advanced MS Debate(6th-8th): Non-Competitive | Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 pm

• Lincoln Douglas Debate(6th-8th) | Thursdays 4:00-6:00 pm

Policy Debate Nationals Team (6th-8th) | one-year program*

• Class: Thursdays 6:00-8:00 pm 

• Special Class for Tournament Prep: TBD by Tournament schedule
